We are living at the national and international level very difficult and unprecedented moments in the history of pandemics. In view of the evolution of the Coronavirus pandemic which has not spared our country and the measures taken by the Algerian government to deal with this situation, the SIPSA-FILAHA & AGROFOOD exhibition initially scheduled for 10 to 13 October 2020 at the SAFEX exhibition centre (Algiers) has been postponed to 3 to 6 June 2021, which brings the SIPSA-FILAHA & AGROFOOD back to the original dates of previous years (MAY-JUNE). 63% of national and international exhibitors consulted by survey are in favor of this period.
Welcoming visitors, exhibitors and partners of SIPSA-FILAHA & AGROFOOD in the best conditions is a priority for us. We are convinced that the postponement of the show will contribute to a better organisation of the next edition, both for exhibitors and visitors, and that the conditions, we all hope, will be more favourable for a good economic recovery.
The organisers of SIPSA-FILAHA & AGROFOOD are working to ensure that the 20th edition will once again be a unifying event for the players in the agricultural and agro-industrial world in Algeria and internationally, and a generator of inspiration and revitalisation of agribusiness. The Algerian government is betting on a policy of revitalising investment in the agricultural sector in all sectors, and in particular in the Saharan and mountain areas.
We will keep you constantly informed of the latest events in the agricultural and agro-industrial sector through a series of webinars that we will organise from the beginning of the school year. These thematic webinars will aim to promote exchanges between professionals in the sector and to facilitate the creation of business networks in this period of confinement.
