The Palm Tree Initiative 2025 is taking place at Safex on the 28th of may at 9:00 am, within the SIPSA Exhibition. We have the honor to welcome our guests coming from 10 countries (on presentation of personnel invitations) at the the inaugural session of this first edition of the Date Palm scientific and technological day of industrial applications which will be sheltered by the emblematic Dar El Djazair building.
This event, characteristic of an approach specific to the knowledge economy, under the aegis of SIPSA and the Pan-African Conference on the Food Debate, is at the crossroads of concerns relating to climate change, the migrations that our region is experiencing underpinned by its demographic kinetics and food security. It highlights a development program inspired by science and technology, responding to the challenges of aridity and articulation around the Date Palm and its ability to feed the world while offering strategic perspectives for multi-sector industrialization of exceptional depth.
The Palm Tree Initiative 2025, brings together scientists from the academic world, technologists, companies involved in a process of engineering technical and technological know-how, investment funds, investors in the saharan agriculture, cooperatives, environmentalists. The aim is to find together a path to construct a complete new industry based primarly on the Date Palm, this magnificent Plant, common treasure of our shared deserts lands.
